Mountain biking at Mt BullerBiking

X-Country
Mt Buller and the surrounding area boasts over 100kms of quality trails for you to explore, ranging from easier to use trails which are located close to the village and amenities to the most difficult trails that will take you out into more remote areas.
The cross country trails at Mt Buller and Mt Stirling are free to use and are suitable for conventional mountain bikes
Check out the recently-constructed trails designed by internationally renowned mountain bike course designer Glen Jacobs and his team from World Trail. These include improvements in the Corn Hill area, new intermediate trails at One Tree Hill, as well as a link from the Village Circuit beginner trails to the downhill area at Spurs.

Road Cycling

Why not put your endurance to the test and take up the Mt Buller Cycling Challenge.
The ride starts at the base of the mountain and follows the Mt Buller Tourist rd to the resort. The challenge consists of a 16km uphill ride which rises 909 vertical mtrs in height.

Downhill Mountain Biking

During summer Mt Bullerâ™s snow runs turn into the downhill Mountain biking course. The trails have a variety of challenging technical features such as Berms, ramps and jumps.
All downhill trails are accessible by chairlift.

Hiking

Why not discover the high country on your own two feet.
You can pick up a free trail map and set out on your own or join a free guided walk where you will learn about the history of Mt Buller and the unique Alpine Flora and Fauna.

Horse Riding

Saddle up and join the local horseman as they show you the breathtaking views of the High Country. With many horse treks on offer you will be sure to find a ride that is tailored to you.
Choose from scenic trail rides, day trips or overnight treks. Scenic trails leading to Craigâ™s Hut are always a popular choice.
If you would prefer to finish your horse ride off with a glass of local wine then the Winery Ride is for you. The 2 hr ride takes in the beautiful Man From Snowy River country and ends at the Kinloch Winery where you will enjoy a regional gourmet platter and a glass of cool country wine.

Scenic Chairlift Rides

Jump on the Horse Hill chairlift and view Mt Buller from the top of the mountain.
The Horse Hill chairlift departs from the day car park and travels across the northern slopes to the Spurs restaurant.

TennisTennis at Mt Buller

Mt Buller has both an outdoor and indoor tennis court. Racquets and balls are available free of charge.

Gymnasium.

The Mt Buller Gym in the Buller Community Centre boasts the most comprehensive international standard gymnasium in an Australian alpine environment.

Cinema

Australiaâ™s highest cinema! It has seating for 180 and screens the latest adults and kids releases twice a week during summer.

Arts and Artifacts walk

Pick up a brochure and take a self guided walk through the village where you will find artworks, sculptures and statues by local artists.
The brochure will provide you with the history of each piece and some information on the artist.

National Alpine Museum

Learn the history of Mt Buller. From its beginnings as a cattlemanâ™s run to one a Australiaâ™s premier resorts. Browse through the skiing memorabilia, photographs, clothing and more.
